Climbing
Anglesey is home to the most awe inspiring sea cliffs in the UK. If Snowdonia is in cloud and rain, the chances are Gogarth will be fine.
There are over 450 routes on the Gogarth sea cliffs which offer a unique climbing experience. There are classic routes unrivalled in the UK, such as
The Cad,
A Dream of White Horses,
Mousetrap

Access especially to the Main Cliff and Easter Island is affected by the tides. Climbers visiting these areas are advised to check the local tides. Seasonal restrictions also apply diring the bird nesting season. Refer to RSPB South Stack for more info.

Holyhead Mountain crags provide some good, though short, routes of all grades on variable quality rock. With nearly 100 routes from Diff to the mid Extremes, Holyhead Mountain has something for everyone. A mixture of slabby buttresses and steep walls on mostly solid quartzite, up to 130 ft.
Other areas for climbing are Red Wall at Rhoscolyn.
