Our most popular
schools package during the summer is full board
outdoor adventure residentials. Activities are chosen in conjunction with the
teachers and provided by
AALA Licensed operators. Depending on the personal preferences of each
school, evening activities can be provided or you can entertain yourself with laid back evenings in the Centre grounds or at the local beach. All programmes are structured to make sure that each group gets the most from their stay. As a small centre we are committed to offering maximum participation opportunities for each
pupil and of course heaps of fun! We select our activity providers very carefully so that the thrill and excitement of
outdoor and
adventure pursuits, all undertaken in their natural environment, creates a truly unforgettable experience.
Each
club has its own agenda for a trip away so please feel free to discuss your requirements with our team. For example we have
rambling clubs who stay on a
full board basis,
rugby clubs who have
bed and breakfast,
sub aqua clubs who have bed only,
canoe clubs who camp,
bird watching clubs who have
bed and brunch or
university sports clubs who fall into bed.
The different combination of rooms in the Main Centre and the ambiance of the main lounge make family gatherings at
Anglesey Outdoors a memorable time. Some families choose a room each, some put teenagers together in one room with a separate chill out room, and grandparents can retire to a twin room. Our family gatherings choose from
self catering to
weddings that take exclusive use of the site with additional marquees and food.
We currently host the
Anglesey Sea Kayak Symposium for
Sea Kayaking UK. This event takes place annually over the first May Bank holiday and attracts hundreds of
sea kayakers from all over the world. Now in its 27th year, the symposium offers
courses,
entertainment,
workshops and lectures. As well as
sea kayaking,
Anglesey Outdoors has hosted diving meets and a
bike bash.
