Anglesey Outdoors is situated on Holy Island, Anglesey between Trearddur Bay and Holyhead. This area offers some of the best outdoor activities to be found anywhere in the UK both on and off the water. There is a rich array of wildlife and culture in the proximity and the variety of venues nearby makes The Centre an ideal location for a wide range of both educational and adventure activities.

Anglesey Outdoors is set in 14 acres of grounds just 10 minutes walk from a Blue Award National Trust Beach and Anglesey Coastal footpath.

We offer a spacious, informal atmosphere and being purpose built as an activity centre, you will find all you need to make your stay here a time to remember. Whether self catering, looking for a bed or tipi for the night, or you would like to take advantage of our on site bar, Anglesey Outdoors offers you a warm welcome.

WEEKEND BREAKS

Throughout the winter we are offering an introduction to Geocaching Weekend.

This weekend is not only an introduction to geocaching but also a treasure
trail. Whether you have been geo caching before or are a newcomer our
weekend is a great way to get involved. All you need is a good pair of
walking boots, waterproof coat, a good pair of eyes and a GPS! ( GPS' are available to hire from the Centre for a nominal fee if you don't have one.)

Within a 2.5 mile radius of Anglesey Outdoors there are 15 Geo caches - plus there are 10 caches on our own trails just for centre residents.

Weekend Details

Arrive Friday pm: Introduction to caching and instructions on GPS

Saturday AM. Select your chosen caches, pick up your packed lunches and go caching. These can be Centre based for those who are new to the activity or less physically able, or more of a scramble such as at North Stack.

Evening: Meet back at the Centre for a meal and to compare notes.
Internet Session: Log on to the Geocaching site, check out the caches for your route home after Breakfast the following day.

Price includes: 2 nights B & B, 2 packed lunches and Evening Meal on the Saturday Night. Adults: £50.00, Under 16's: £40.00. This activity is also available midweek, please check availability with the Centre.

Things to do: The harbour at Holyhead provides an excellent venue for sailing and canoeing, whilst Holyhead Mountain and its surrounding area has excellent climbing, walking, mountain biking and orienteering opportunities. Snowdonia National Park is a 30 minute drive from The Centre and gives access to the great mountains of Wales. Anglesey Outdoors is an ideal location for a wide range of educational and adventure activities set in a natural outdoor playground making an unforgettable experience.
